INTERMODAL MOBILITY

As an ultra-light folding bike, the VELLO Bike is part of a intermodal transport concept and easily handles rider's daily commutes. Thanks to efficient energy recovery using K.E.R.S. technology (Kinetic Energy Recovery System), longer distances can be covered with ease. Every VELLO Bike makes a positive contribution to climate change and every kilometre cycled reduces our carbon footprint.

ENVIRONMENT AND CLIMATE PROTECTION

We use recyclable and environmentally friendly materials for the production of our VELLO Bikes. We also place great emphasis on the ease of repair and reusability of our components. The motor and battery are built into the rear hub of the VELLO Bike and can be easily replaced or repaired without affecting the rest of the bike. We also upcycle many VELLO accessories.

URBAN MANUFACTURING

Local manufacturing revitalises urban spaces, shortens distances, saves resources and offers our customers a unique shopping experience. We show that in an industry characterised by long supply chains, green alternatives can also be successfully implemented.

SOCIAL AWARENESS

In addition to environmental sustainability, VELLO also stands for sustainable solutions to social problems. In the area of human resources, we work with initiatives to reintegrate long-term unemployed people into the labour market. As a certified apprentice company, we also offer young people a perspective as bicycle mechanics.
